Yakisugi is a collaborative collection between Yolande Batteau of Callidus Guild and Aesa Jewelry, showcasing the ancient Japanese technique of charring cedar as a means of curing the wood. Each piece is completely handmade. Wood has been burned, burnished and waxed by hand to a Yakisugi finish, and finished with either bronze or gold.

The collection debuted at the NES Creative Space in 2017, along with gold mirrors, paravents and paintings by Yolande Batteau.
